About the event
The Brock Tract Loop is a trail near Uxbridge, Ontario, within the Brock Tract and Glen Major Forest areas. This moderately challenging loop starts at the Glen Major Forest Parking area and takes you through a mix of deciduous and coniferous woods.
The trail has lots of ups and downs, making it both challenging and interesting! As you hike, you'll walk on both mud and gravel paths, with a good mix of forested areas and open fields.Â
A unique part of this hike is seeing how a former sand and gravel excavation site has been turned back into a natural area with young trees and bushes. The Brock Tract Loop provides a rewarding experience, showcasing the beauty of Ontario's forests and nature's ability to reclaim land!
Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults. Â All are welcome on our walks!
