Cedarvale to Nordheimer Ravine + Wychwood Barns Farmers Market

Come enjoy a Saturday stroll along the beautiful Cedarvale Park and the Nordheimer Ravine. We will be surrounded by nature, birds and ravines and we will finish our hike at the Wychwood Barns Farmers' Market where you will be able to discover farmers from Ontario and many other vendors.

Don't forget to bring extra bags in case you want to buy some fresh organic vegetables or a mug so you can have a zero waste drink from one of the many vendors!

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults.  All are welcome on our walks!

Pace of hike: 3.5 km per hour - Relaxed

Difficulty: Beginner, some hills

Family-friendly: (suitable for young people 17 and under) No

Stroller-friendly: No

Dogs permitted: No

What To Expect:

Hike leader: Alma (she/her)

What you should plan to bring with you: Snacks, water, sunscreen, dress for the weather. Don't forget to bring extra bags in case you want to buy some fresh organic vegetables or a mug so you can have a zero waste drink from one of the many vendors.

Registration fee: [$5] + service fee, though if you cannot afford it, please contact us at letshiketo@gmail.com to request a Pay What You Can (PWYC) registration based on your circumstance.

Pre-hike email: Registrants will receive additional details by email the day before the hike.

Weather precautions: The hike will take place regardless of rain, wind, or snow so please dress accordingly! We will only cancel or postpone the hike if weather conditions are considered extreme or dangerous, in which case registered hikers will be informed 48 hours in advance.
