Evergreen Brickworks Nature Hike
Join us for a hike to Evergreen Brickworks as we document our observations of early spring!
Time & Location
Apr 27, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Toronto, Toronto, ON M4W 3Z2, Canada
About the event
Join us for a spring hike to Evergreen Brickworks as we document early spring! We'll explore the Ravine Beltline Trail and the Brickworks park, learning to identify plants and animals using the iNaturalist app.
While our focus will be on spotting and identifying plants, we might also encounter some amazing wildlife such as birds, turtles, or even beavers! Most importantly, during the hike, we’ll upload our observations to iNaturalist and contribute to the City Nature Challenge of Toronto (Click Here for more info).
Identifying plants and animals through iNaturalist is a fun and useful skill, and a great way to get involved in citizen science that contributes to real-world research and conservation. All you need to bring is your phone and your curiosity for nature!
Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults. All are welcome on our walks!
