Join us for a beautiful Fall hike in Hardy Lake Provincial Park, located in the illustrious Muskokas! Clear waters, thick forests and scenic boardwalks make this hike a memorable one. Experience the park's diverse ecosystems, including lush forests, rocky outcrops, and crystal-clear waters. Learn about some of the Indigenous history of the Muskoka area, and on how it existed through the centuries. Â Pack a lunch and and we will enjoy a picnic meal amidst the tranquil surroundings.Â
Take the opportunity to dip your toes in the fresh lake water! Â With its challenging yet rewarding trails, Hardy Lake Provincial Park offers an unforgettable outdoor adventure. Â We willl be grabbing dinner with those who are able after we return to Islington station.
Bus Departure: 9:00AM Plan to arrive at the pick up point at 8:45 AM sharp. Islington TTC Station (Google Maps Link)
Return: 5:00PM We will be dropped off at the same place we started (Islington TTC Station) around 5:00pm pending traffic.Â

Open to people who want to drive to the start point to meet the group: Yes *Please note: While we permit individuals to meet directly at the trailhead for this hike, we will not be issuing 'Car hike tickets' for it.*
Requiring hiking boots: Yes
Requiring walking poles: Not essential, but worth bringing if you have them
Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults. All are welcome on our walks.
What To Expect
Hike leader: Jennifer (she/her), Kajen (he/him), Padraic (he/him).
What's included: Chartered bus to and from Islington TTC Subway Station, a hike led by trained hike leaders, opportunities to stop to take photos of nature and the fantastic views!
What you should plan to bring with you: Packed lunch, snacks, bug spray, a towel or headband, 2+ litres of water, long pants, hat, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, rain gear if expected.Â
Registration fee: Bus Hike is $55, though if you cannot afford it, please contact us at letshiketo@gmail.com to request a Pay What You Can registration based on your circumstance.
Limited tickets: This bus hike is restricted to 42 registrants.
*Tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by the organizers.
Pre-hike email: Registrants will receive additional details by email the day before the hike, such as what to bring on the day, what to wear, etc.
Weather precautions: The hike will take place regardless of rain, wind, or snow so please dress accordingly! We will only cancel or postpone the hike if weather conditions are considered extreme or dangerous, in which case registered hikers will be informed 48 hours in advance.Â
