High Park To Long Branch Fast Hike
Put your endurance to the test on a brisk 17 km hike along the stunning Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Our route begins through High Park, with a possible view of the last cherry blossoms, then continues on to the Waterfront Trail. We’ll follow the trail all the way to Long Branch Go Station.

About the event
Put your endurance to the test on a brisk 17 km hike along the stunning Great Lakes Waterfront Trail.
Our route begins through High Park, with a possible view of the last cherry blossoms, then continues on to the Waterfront Trail. We’ll follow the trail all the way to Long Branch Go Station, staying close to the shoreline as we pass the picturesque Humber Bay Arch Bridge and continue through Colonel Samuel Smith Park.
This route has convenient drop-out points along the way.
A beer stop awaits at the Canadian Legion at the very end, just steps from the GO station.

Difficulty: Challenging due to length and fast pace of hike.

Registration fee: $4.07 + Eventbrite fees though if you cannot afford it, please contact us at letshiketo@gmail.com to request a Pay-What-You Can ticket registration based on your circumstance.
Limited tickets: This hike is restricted to 25 registrants. Tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and are non-refundable.
Pre-hike email: Registrants will receive additional details by email the day before the hike, such as what to bring on the day, what to wear, etc.
Weather precautions: The hike will take place regardless of rain, wind, or snow so please dress accordingly! We will only cancel or postpone the hike if weather conditions are considered extreme or dangerous, in which case registered hikers will be informed 48 hours in advance.
