About the event

Every September to November, several salmon species migrate from the cold Lake Ontario water upstream through the rivers of Toronto to spawn.

Did you know that Etienne Brulé Park is one of the best spots in Toronto to watch the salmon run? If you are lucky, you might see salmon jump more than a meter high over the Old Mill dam to go upstream to their spawning grounds.

We will start our hike at Old Mill Station, walk north along Humber river before we return back to our starting point, and learn about nature along the way.

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults.  All are welcome on our walks!
