Taco Friday Hike at High Park

Join us for an evening hike through Toronto’s unique High Park. We will walk through the beautiful trails of High Park and we will finish our hike with a refreshing pint and some delicious tacos at Steadfast Brewing Company! This hike is a great way to unwind after a workday while getting some steps in.

We'll maintain a relaxed pace. After an hour of hiking, we'll move through residential neighborhoods for the final kilometers of our route. Our hike will conclude at Steadfast Brewing Company, located at 301 Lansdowne Ave. Steadfast Brewing Company serves traditional and surprising brews. And most importantly, it's a unique brewery that serves delicious tacos made by a Mexican cook. Come ready to enjoy the hike, the brews and the delicious tacos on our first ever Taco Friday Hike!

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults.  All are welcome on our walks!

Start Point: High Park Nature Centre, 375 Colborne Lodge Dr, Toronto, ON M6R 2Z3, [Google Maps Link] - We will set off at 5:00pm. Plan to arrive at the start point at 4:45pm sharp as we aren't able to wait for latecomers. 

End Point: Steadfast Brewing Company, 301 Lansdowne Ave, Toronto, ON M6K 2W5 [Google Maps Link]

Pace of hike: 3km per hour - Relaxed

Difficulty: Beginner

Terrain Type: Relatively easy terrain, includes some small hills and steps, but very beginner friendly

Dog-friendly: No

Family-friendly: (suitable for young people 17 and under) No

Requiring hiking boots: Not Required

Registration fee: $5 + service fee though if you cannot afford it, please contact us at letshiketo@gmail.com to request a discounted ticket based on your circumstance.

Limited tickets: This hike is restricted to 15 registrants. Tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to future events.

Pre-hike email: Registrants will receive additional details by email the day before the hike, such as what to bring on the day, what to wear, etc.

Weather precautions: The hike will take place regardless of rain, wind, or snow so please dress accordingly! We will only cancel or postpone the hike if weather conditions are considered extreme or dangerous, in which case registered hikers will be informed 48 hours in advance.
