Taco Sunday Hike through High Park

Join us for a Sunday hike through Toronto's beautiful High Park. We will walk through its unique trails and finish our hike with a refreshing pint and delicious tacos. This hike is the perfect way to unwind while getting some steps in.

We'll maintain a relaxed pace throughout. After an hour of hiking, we'll move through residential neighborhoods for the final kilometers of our route. Our hike will conclude at Steadfast Brewing Company, located at 301 Lansdowne Ave. Steadfast Brewing Company serves traditional and surprising brews. Most importantly, it's a unique brewery that serves delicious tacos made by a Mexican cook. Come ready to enjoy the hike, the brews and the delicious tacos on our Taco Sunday Hike!

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults.  All are welcome on our walks!

Start Point: High Park Nature Centre, 375 Colborne Lodge Dr, Toronto, ON M6R 2Z3 [Google Maps Link] - We will set off at 11:30 am. Plan to arrive at the start point at 11:15 am sharp, as we aren't able to wait for latecomers. 

End Point: Steadfast Brewing Company, 301 Lansdowne Ave, Toronto, ON M6K 2W5 [Google Maps Link]

Length: 6 km

Pace of hike: 3.5km per hour - Relaxed

Difficulty: Beginner

Terrain Type: Relatively easy terrain, includes some small hills and steps, but very beginner-friendly.

Dog-friendly: No

Family-friendly: (suitable for young people 17 and under) No

Stroller-friendly: (paved trails accessible for strollers) No

Requiring hiking boots: Not Required

Requiring walking poles: Not Required

Registration fee: $5 + service fee though if you cannot afford it, please contact us at letshiketo@gmail.com to request a complimentary registration based on your circumstance.

Limited tickets: This hike is restricted to 20 registrants. Tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to future events.

Pre-hike email: Registrants will receive additional details by email the day before the hike, such as what to bring on the day, what to wear, etc.

Weather precautions: The hike will take place regardless of rain, wind, or snow so please dress accordingly! We will only cancel or postpone the hike if weather conditions are considered extreme or dangerous, in which case registered hikers will be informed 48 hours in advance.
