Urban Oasis Loop: Mount Pleasant Cemetery to Moore Park Ravine

Let's embark on a unique urban adventure! We'll start near Davisville Subway Station and journey through the sprawling grounds of Mount Pleasant Cemetery on its smooth, winding paths. From there, we'll head into the tranquil, tree-lined Moore Park Ravine, a natural corridor that feels a world away from the city. We'll then make our way back up and through the cemetery, completing our loop back to the starting point.

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults.  All are welcome on our walks!

Start Point: Near Davisville TTC Subway Station. Direct Location will be shared with ticket holders closer to the date - We will set off at 1:00 pm. Plan to arrive at the start point at 12:45 pm sharp as we aren't able to wait for latecomers. 

End Point: Near Davisville TTC Subway Station

Length: 8 km

Pace of hike: 4 km per hour - Relaxed

Difficulty: Intermediate

Terrain Type: Relatively smooth, with some elevation changes.

Family-friendly: (suitable for young people 17 and under) No

Stroller-friendly: No

Dogs permitted: No

Requiring hiking boots: Not Required

Requiring walking poles: Not Required

What To Expect:

What you should plan to bring with you: Snacks, water, sunscreen, dress for the weather.

Registration fee: $5 + service fee, though if you cannot afford it, please contact us at letshiketo@gmail.com to request a discounted ticket based on your circumstances.

Pre-hike email: Registrants will receive additional details by email the day before the hike.

Weather precautions: The hike will take place regardless of rain, wind, or snow so please dress accordingly! We will only cancel or postpone the hike if weather conditions are considered extreme or dangerous, in which case registered hikers will be informed 48 hours in advance.
